Have Your Own Photoshoot
When was the last time that you and your spouse took pictures together....just the two of you? Whatever your answer was, is too long lol.
Hire a local photographer, pick out a couple of outfits, dress up and get your model on!
If money is an issue, grab your phone and find a teenager you know to take pics for you (they always know how to get the best angle) and just have fun!
Look At Pictures From Your Dating Days
One thing I love about FB is that it will send me memories of pictures that I posted years ago and it instantly takes me back to that moment!
So tonight, as part of your date night, go through your pictures of when you all were dating. Reminisce on the best spots you all visited and even the dates that didn't go as planned. I'm sure you will be able to find the humor in it now :)
Dancing To Your Wedding Song
Keep in the spirit of the wedding season, dust off your dancing shoes and turn on the song that you danced to for your wedding.
Jason and I learned how to Chicago style step for our first dance because @jota31 loves partner style dancing!
Although, we don't remember exactly how it goes, we still enjoy dancing with each other!
Take A Romantic Car Ride
Hop in the car and take a romantic car ride by taking the scenic route in the countryside or maybe a drive along the beach. Make it sexy by kissing each other at each red light.
Or since gas prices are $1000/gallon, find a secluded area so that you can put those mini vans and big body SUVs to good use, by making out in the back seat!
Get Pedicures Together
Spring is right around the corner so why not schedule to have your next pedicure....together!
Yes, men can get pedicures too! We usually get pedicures together right before going on vacation.
This is a time to relax and enjoy in this self-care together and a time to talk, or better yet, dream about your next couple trip or fun activity.
What Is Distracting You From Being Your Best Self And Spouse?
In order to know where you're going, you need to identify those things that are keeping you from being your full self.
Think about this question, is there anything that is holding you back or keeping you from being everything God has for you? Is it fear? Is it uncertainty?
Plan A Date Based On The Year You Met Your Spouse
This week's date night idea is to flashback into time by curating a date night filled with things from the year you met your spouse.
Relive all the romance from when you first met, by watching the first movie you ever saw together, having the same first meal you shared, or going to the place where you all first met.
The purpose of this date is to take a trip down memory lane by reminiscing on a series of relationship "firsts" and laugh and enjoy those memories!
Spend The Night Playing Video Games
Remember when you used to spend all day and night playing video games or waiting in line at Best Buy or Game Stop for the next release of Madden?
Well tonight unleash your inner gamer, and relive some of that joy, by sending your kids away for the night and stay up playing their video games!
NetFlix and Chill
Not sure what the weather is like where you are at, but in Texas it is chilly....the perfect weather to snuggle up and binge watch a show with your bae!
So yes! Netflix and chill!
Pick out a new series or a show that you guys have fallen behind on, and enjoy some quality time together.
Bonus tip - Use the ads (or commercials) as an opportunity to make out with your spouse. I'm sure you guys won't make it through many episodes!
Finish This Statement " I Love How You _________________"
Who loves hearing words of affirmation? I do! Hearing my spouse give me unsolicited affirmations mean the world to me! Plus hearing the reasons behind what she loves about me fills my love tank.
Starting this weekend, speak affirming words to and around your spouse so that there is an overflow of their love tank.
Play The Kissing Game
Kissing games are awesome because you don’t have to get dressed up and leave the comforts of your home to have fun. They also are sure to heat things up!
There are several types of kissing games that can be played...how about guess the word where you take turns spelling words with your tongue? Or, blindfolding your spouse and taking turns to kiss different body parts using only your mouths? It is guaranteed to be a steamy time!
Playing these types of games is a great start to your Valentine's day weekend!
Make An Acronym Of A Unique Phrase You Say To Your Spouse
So this weekend talk with your spouse and agree on the phrase you want to use and make up your very own acronym.
Send "I'm Thinking Of You" Text Throughout The Day
Remember when you were dating and you would send little texts to each other throughout the day saying things like "just wanted to let you know you're on my mind", "I can't wait to get off work so we can hang out", or "I can't wait to kiss you again"?
Reflect On What You Have Been Able To Accomplish Together Over 2021
We are halfway through 2021 and now is the perfect time to take a moment to look back at what you have been able to accomplish so far in 2021 as a couple!
Praise your spouse for their part in those accomplishments (and be specific)!
Have things not been going as well as you would like them to? No problem!
Take time to dream and discuss what you would like to see happen in the next 6 months together.
Kiss Like You Did When You Were Dating
Why is it that when you get married, or have been together in a relationship for a long time, your kissing game changes? You go from deep kisses to quick pecks on the cheek whenever you are leaving each other.
We wouldn't tolerate pecking while we were dating so let's NOT ACCEPT IT NOW!
Today, every time you leave the presence of your spouse, give them a big, juicy kiss and LINGER! Make it a game to see who can stay in the kiss the longest and let us know in the comments below who won (even though both of you will be winners😉)!
Surprise You Spouse With Their Favorite Meal Or Dessert
You know how the saying is the quickest way to a man's heart is through their stomachs? Well, I believe that is true for any foodie!
Today's challenge is to surprise your spouse with their favorite meal or dessert for lunch or dinner. This is a
great weekend to do this to for the fathers out there where you can celebrate him throughout the weekend!
And because we are foodies😋, what are some of y'all's favorite foods/desserts?
Find A Drive-In Movie Theater To Watch A Movie
Have you thought about being able to watch a movie with a little more privacy than you
would in a movie theater? Search for the nearest drive-in movie theater for ya'll to try out this weekend.
Cuddle up in the back of your car with your spouse. Just be sure to save the extra curricular activity for
when you get back home. #nobackseatofmyjeep
Spice Things Up By Giving Your Spouse A Massage
It's time to spice things up for the flashback Friday challenge!
Tonight, give your spouse a massage. It can be foot rub, neck and shoulder massage, and/or a scalp
massage. There's no limits or restrictions! Focus on your spouse, their needs, and their tension.
Who knows what else it would lead to 👀?
Write Your Spouse A Love Letter And Leave It In An Unexpected Place
You have so much power and authority in your words! Why not document your love and
appreciation for your spouse?
Write a love letter to your boo thang and leave it somewhere they would least expect it (underneath
their pillow, by their toothbrush, etc.)
Complete An Act Of Kindness For Your Spouse
When was the last time that you did something spontaneous, random, and kind for your
spouse?
Like speaking encouraging or kind words to them throughout the day, washing their car, taking care of
one of their daily tasks, or giving them some "ME" time.
