Marriage Coaching, Couples & Family Therapy | Houston, TX & Across Texas
Healthy relationships aren't inherited. They're built.
You were never shown how, and the blueprint you were handed wasn't the one you needed. We help you build the marriage you want, with yourself and the people you love, and heal from the ones that hurt.
Whether you are building a marriage or healing from a relationship that taught you to doubt yourself, you were never shown how. That is the work we do together, privately, outside of your circle. To build the marriage you want instead of quietly settling for the one you inherited.
WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW?
THE B-SIDE OF MARRIAGE
“We cannot fall apart in front of the people who look up to us.”
The room where you don’t have to hold it together.
You grew up hearing "divorce is not an option." You meant it then and you mean it now. But nobody handed you the playbook for what staying actually looks like after something breaks. So when something private blows up in your house, there is nowhere to take it, and the people closest to you are the last people you can tell. We work with couples like you, privately, with both of us in the room. No mutual friends. No church parking lot. No explaining yourselves to anyone.

AIM FOR HEALING THERAPY
"Everybody calls me. I have nobody to call."
Therapy for the woman who is holding all of it.
You run the calendar, the house, the kids, the ministry. From the outside it looks handled. Then you found out. And the person you would normally call about something this big is the person it is about. This is individual therapy for the woman carrying a private crisis in public. You do not have to decide anything here. You do not have to be ready. You do not have to have told anyone. You only have to stop carrying it by yourself.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK BEFORE REACHING OUT
Nothing is off limits here either.

Coaching is structured support focused on tools, communication skills, and accountability — no diagnosis, no treatment plan, not governed by clinical licensing standards. Therapy is licensed clinical work that goes deeper into emotional processing, mental health, and patterns rooted in trauma or attachment. Ra'Shunda provides licensed therapy through Aim for Healing Therapy, PLLC. Jason provides coaching through The B-Side of Marriage. Both are available here — the discovery call helps determine which lane fits your situation.

No, and the couples who get the most out of this work are the ones who come before things fall apart. If you can feel that something needs to shift, that is enough of a reason to start. Waiting until things are at a breaking point means more to rebuild.
-
Yes. One person changing how they show up changes the dynamic between two people. You cannot control whether your partner comes, but you can start. The discovery call is a good place to figure out what makes sense given where you are right now.
-
Coaching does not bill insurance. Therapy through Aim for Healing Therapy, PLLC is private pay. A Good Faith Estimate is legally required to be provided prior to the start of services. Some clients use HSA or FSA funds.
-
Yes. All coaching services are available, virtually, nationwide and therapy via telehealth to anyone in Texas. In-person sessions are available in the Houston, TX area.
