Every week we want to de-mystify a common myth about marriage!

People often joke about marriage being like a ball and chain....heavy, hard to maneuver, and a trap. Marriage is often seen as the end of your dreams and it prevents you from doing what you want to do, but that is far from the truth!

Marriage does change your life, and it prevents you from doing a lot of things on a whim, but it also allows you to be in a relationship where you adore each other.

You know have someone who you can share adventures with, a place where you can develop love that grows to unimaginable heights, someone to laugh with, and a space to learn and overcome personal biases, beliefs, and transcend negative generational patterns.

If you go into your marriage with the "ball and chain" mentality, your marriage will result in a challenging, unsatisfied relationship. Instead, the relationship should be a place of safety, renewal, and comfort. Make it a place that nurtures and gives joy. Give it room so that it can breathe, as well as the people in it.

Having A Baby Will Save My Marriage
