We Should Not Reveal Weaknesses To Our Spouse

We Should Not Reveal Weaknesses To Our Spouse

Society likes to label men as weak if they show any vulnerabilities or feelings. So when men get married sometimes it's a tough transition to share
their hearts and reveal any weaknesses because they are trying to appear strong .

One of the things I have learned from being married for over 13 years, is that protecting your inadequacies only prevents you from loving, and being loved, completely.

By protecting a weakness, takes away the ability for your spouse to be your helpmate in those areas where you are weak in. You are taking on unnecessary stress and worry when your spouse is there to help shoulder that burden.

Being honest about what you can and cannot do
allows your spouse to do the same so that the both of you can leverage your strengths to be successful.

We all have a weakness (or 2 or 3) and if we just reveal it to our spouse we can get the help we need in those areas and no longer have to carry that weight alone!
