Who Refers to Us
-
When to refer:
Your client is in or exiting a divorce with children involved and the co-parenting relationship is already contentious, or you can see it heading there. Ra'Shunda works with co-parents in high-conflict dynamics and helps them build a functional working relationship for the sake of the children. She does not provide custody evaluations or act as a guardian ad litem.
-
When to refer:
A couple or individual in your congregation has come to you with something beyond pastoral care: cycles you cannot break in a counseling session, trauma that needs clinical support, or a co-parenting situation that has become unmanageable. Ra'Shunda and Jason are faith-informed and work with clients of all backgrounds.
-
When to refer:
You are seeing stress signals in a parent at well-child visits or postpartum appointments: anxiety, depression, overwhelm, relationship strain, or a co-parenting situation that is affecting the child. Ra'Shunda sees women individually and in group therapy. Jason and Ra'Shunda see couples together.
-
When to refer:
A child's behavior or academic performance is being affected by what is happening at home. This can include parental conflict, co-parenting tension, or a family going through a significant transition. Ra'Shunda works with the parents directly, not the child. Parenting therapy, co-parenting therapy, and family therapy are all available.
-
When to refer:
An employee is dealing with a divorce, custody dispute, or co-parenting conflict that is affecting their work. Ra'Shunda's therapy services are private pay and not billed through EAP — but she can serve as an out-of-network provider with a superbill available upon request.
-
When to refer:
Your client needs co-parenting therapy, couples therapy, or parenting therapy that falls outside your scope or availability. Ra'Shunda is open to brief clinical coordination when the client provides written consent. She accepts self-referrals and provider referrals equally.
The people you are most likely sending our way.
WHO WE WORK WITH
COACHING
Couples who need skills, not a diagnosis
Couples in conflict, engaged couples who want to build a strong foundation, and married couples repeating the same cycle without knowing how to break it. Not in crisis, BUT stuck. Ra'Shunda and Jason work with them together.
Coaching is not therapy. No clinical diagnosis or treatment plan
LICENSED THERAPY
Women exhausted from carrying everything alone
High-achieving, over-responsible women (often co-parenting with a difficult ex) who have built their identity around holding it all together and are running out of bandwidth. Ra'Shunda sees them individually and in group therapy.
Individual therapy, co-parenting therapy, and Soft Power Women's Group
LICENSED THERAPY
Parents breaking generational patterns
Parents who recognize they are repeating what was done to them and want to stop it — in their parenting, their relationship with their own children, and how they navigate conflict inside the family.
Parenting therapy, teen parenting therapy, and family therapy available
LICENSED THERAPY
Co-parents who cannot get on the same page
Divorced, separated, and never-married co-parents stuck in high-conflict dynamics that keep pulling the children in. Ra'Shunda specializes in helping co-parents build a functional working relationship — not for each other, for the kids.
Available to co-parents anywhere in Texas via telehealth
Two separate services — coaching through The B-Side of Marriage and licensed therapy through Aim for Healing Therapy, PLLC. Both are available to clients across Texas.
