Every so often, I work on honing my lighting techniques and bring in a fellow photographer to work on different techniques. As the title says we are exploring the clamshell lighting technique.

Finally got to take some portraits of an actress who happens to be my niece during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Wasn’t able to get outside to shoot and was still able to get some good shots.

The many faces of the Adams tribe. They keep us going and always bring a smile to our face.

Since I am at work most of the time, I thought I'd take some shots of the environment I am around. I work in sports television and I took these shots with no extra lighting. I wanted to get the feel of the environment in it natural lighting.  

I took different portraits for this weeks challenge and they did not come out the way I wanted. Went to the park with my son and saw him climbing down the spiral thing and quickly took a shot and it came out nicely I might add.

I am a little late posting this photo mainly because my schedule has been busy and it took me a while to find something that I like candy wise. Then it hit me in the face, it was right in front of face every time I watch a movie.

Another tough week to be creative. It did not hit me until I sat down to a glass of merlot. As I poured my glass all I could think about was the smoothness, boldness of the wine. For this challenge I didn't use actual wine, I used water and food color.
