✨ NEW Podcast Episode✨ In this week's episode we tackle codependency and how it can create challenges within a relationship. Often, when codependency is discussed in the context of a romantic relationship most people will label it as "toxic" but sometimes codependency creeps into the relationship because of the length of time that a couple has been together.

Who is not guilty of wanting to satisfy and please their partner? Who also wants to be needed and wanted by their partner? Those are the fundamental seeds of codependency! Codependency is when a partner consistently plays the self-sacrificial role of attending to the needs of the other person while burying, and neglecting, their own needs.

During our discussion, we address:

✨ The difference between individual vs. joint goals

✨ Signs of codependency

✨ Mental loads and communication strains

✨ Changing needs and support

✨ Self-autonomy within a relationship

✨ and much, much more!

Sometimes in relationships, individuals can lose their sense of self when they focus too much on fulfilling other's needs. This usually happens over time and causes self-doubt and potentially resentment toward your partner. Check out the episode where we take you on our journey of developing healthy self-autonomy and self-awareness as we tackle our own individual dreams while staying connected.
